Rifle Divisions
1K+PR League matches consist of two rifle divisions, open and practical. These divisions will be run alongside the current PRS divisions. The practical division is designed to hopefully provide a larger competition pool and higher participation within the smaller PRS divisions on the Regional level. Participants must designate which division they intend to shoot at check in of the match, if no designation is given you will be placed into the open division.
-
Open Division
-
Caliber and velocity limits of .30 caliber and 3200 fps
-
Unless stated in CoF. No restrictions on weight, rifle components, or attached equipment.
-
-
Practical Division
-
16lbs total weight limit.
-
Total weight is to be considered the weight of the rifle system as shot in its heaviest configuration. This includes the rifle, optic, bipod, muzzle device, suppressor and any accessories that may be attached throughout the match.
-
Rifles competing in the practical division will be weighed at check in and can be weight checked at any point throughout the match. Any competitor found shooting a rifle that is over their check in weight will be moved into the open division and will receive a stage DQ for the stage that they were found overweight on. A practical division stage DQ will only be for the 1K+PR League and not the PRS Regional Series.
-
-
No muzzle brakes
-
Only suppressors, bare muzzles, or flash hiders.
-
Muzzle Brakes that are used as a suppressor mount are permitted provided the suppressor is attached.
-
Flash hiders are permitted provided they do not mitigate any muzzle rise.

-
Winner shoots a 72 and receives 100.00 pts
-
2nd place shoots 70 and would receive 97.22 pts (70/72=.9722 →.9722x100= 97.22 pts)
-
-
-
The League Finale will be worth 100 pts.
-

-

Mid-pack (MP) Rifle
-
Calculated based on the overall leading / winning score.
-
MP is to be set at the shooter that is closest to the 50% placing of qualified shooters in the season standings.
-
Example - If there are 32 shooters with 3 season scores plus the finale score, then 16th place would be MP.
-
-
If there is an odd number of qualified shooters, then the season total (4 scores) will be used to determine the MP winner, and give preference to the shooter with the higher season total score.
-
Example - If there are 33 shooters with 3 season scores plus the final score, MP would be between the 16th & 17th shooter and the shooter with the higher season total (16th) would be MP.
-
-
If a tie is still present after the example in 2.b.i, then the tiebreaker will be determined by the shooter's Finale score followed by the Season score if needed.
