    2. Rifles must not have a magnum bolt face.

    3. Unless stated in the course of fire.  No restrictions on weight, rifle components, or attached equipment.

  • Practical Division

    1. 16 lbs total weight limit.

      • Total weight is to be considered the weight of the rifle system as shot in its heaviest configuration.  This includes the rifle, optic, bipod, muzzle device, and any accessories that may be attached throughout the match.

      • Rifles competing in the practical division will be weighed at check in and can be weight checked at any point throughout the match.  Any competitor found shooting a rifle that is over their check in weight will be moved into the open division and will receive a stage DQ for the stage that they were found overweight on.

    2. No muzzle brakes

      •  Only suppressors, bare muzzles, or flash hiders.

      • Muzzle Brakes that are used as a suppressor mount are permitted provided the suppressor is attached.

      • Flash hiders are permitted provided they do not mitigate any muzzle rise.

    4. Rifles must not have a magnum bolt face.

  • Practical Division Scoring

      • 1 pt bonus for every 2 pounds that a rifle is under 16 lbs.

      • The point bonus is capped at 3 points, which is equal to a total weight of under 10 lbs.

      • The point bonus will be added to the shooter’s overall score.

    2. If applicable, a practical rifle shooter is eligible for A bracket scoring/ payouts in combination with the P payout.  These brackets are laid out further below in this document.
