Dawson County 4-H Shooting Sports Club came to the range with their trimmers, hands, and hearts last Sunday. They trimmed weeds in the 4-H .22 bay, .22 steel bay, pistol bay, 100 yard, and most of the carbine range. They are planning on painting the tables sometime soon as well. They picked up at least 2 five gallon buckets of hulls and general garbage, and made the range look pretty good! The 4-H club uses the range for .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun, and muzzleloader as well as some outdoor skills such as wildlife tracks and ID. They are looking forward to the Archery range! - Robert Thompson
We are incredibly grateful to the Dawson County 4-H Shooting Sports Club for their ongoing commitment and support. Thanks to their efforts, our range is not only cleaner but also a more enjoyable place for everyone to use.
